Customers that have made the two necessary changes to their email programs may still be experiencing issues with sending or receiving email.

The most common cause for this is that SSL is enabled for SMTP, POP3 and/or IMAP.
To resolve this issue one of two things must be done.

1) Disable SSL for SMTP, POP3, or IMAP... OR
2) Change the port number for SMTP, POP3 or IMAP. (if you wish to continue to use SSL)

The instructions below show you how to DISABLE SSL, if you wish to continue with SSL then you need to be sure the port numbers are correct in your email program. Some email prorgrams properly change the port numbers when you enable or disable SSL, others do not!

To summarize, here are the port type and port numbers. SMTP is for SENDING, POP3 and IMAP relate to RECEIVING. You will either be setup for POP3 or IMAP, but not both.

If SSL is enabled
SMTP = 465
POP3 = 995
IMAP = 993

If SSL is disabled
SMTP = 25
POP3 = 110
IMAP = 143
